Director, Product and Data Analytics

Our client is a large-scale SaaS and digital media enterprise that develops multi-tiered web and mobile platforms for millions of global active users. They are bringing on a Director, Product Analytics to drive user behavioral research, conversion optimization, and data strategy across a broad portfolio of consumer-facing applications, integrated tools, and publishing systems. Working as an embedded partner to executive leadership, you will replace speculative roadmap planning with empirical evidence, building performance models that balance operational scaling with user engagement.

Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 base plus 20% on-target bonus

Location: 100% Remote (US)

• 8+ years of experience, including a background guiding, mentoring, and advancing data specialists within an embedded product team environment.
• Multi-Application Oversight:
  Demonstrated success managing product-focused data strategy across multi-tenant platforms, B2B2C products, or multi-sided digital ecosystems.
• Testing & Data Architecture:
  Proven history implementing controlled testing protocols, holdouts, and statistical validation methods while advising software teams on event-tracking and schema standards.
• Performance Metric Design:
  Background establishing comprehensive performance trees that connect top-line commercial outcomes (churn, onboarding conversion, lifetime value) to feature-level usage behaviors.
• Strategic Stakeholder Alignment:
  Ability to work alongside executive product directors, engineering leads, and user research teams to validate product hypotheses, audit feature performance, and surface organic growth opportunities hidden in user activity logs.
