Title
Licensed Practical Nurse - Correctional Health

Requirements
- Valid LPN license for the state (limited permit acceptable)
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Preferred experience in med-surgical, ambulatory care, or mental health settings
- Clinical skills: medication administration (including controlled substances), vital signs, wound care, health screenings, admissions, emergency response, Foley catheter care, NG/G-tube management, oxygen administration, infection control, and documentation of patient status

Roles & Responsibilities
- Administer medications, including controlled substances, ensuring inmate compliance
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Provide wound care and dressing changes
- Assist with health screenings and admissions
- Respond to medical emergencies within the facility
- Maintain infection control practices and use appropriate PPE

Compliance / Notes
- COVID-19 vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
- Candidates must clear a state-run Criminal History Form prior to starting
- Valid state license required; no exceptions
- Required documentation at submission: SSN, DOB
