As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR), this travel opportunity allows you to work in dynamic environments, gaining exposure to a variety of workplace cultures, surgical teams, and leadership methodologies. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a CVOR nursing role
- American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical procedures, instrumentation, and aseptic technique
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new settings and protocols
- Deliver expert perioperative care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgery
- Assist the surgical team during all phases of the operation, maintaining sterile environments
- Monitor and document patient conditions before, during, and after procedures
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff for seamless operations
- Educate and advocate for patients and their families
- Ensure adherence to facility protocols and patient safety standards
