RCC Automotive is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician with light-duty diesel diagnostic and repair experience to join our growing team in Bruce Township, MI. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel trucks, including Ford Power Stroke, GM Duramax, Cummins, and similar platforms.
- Perform general automotive diagnostics and repairs on Domestic and Asian vehicles as needed.
- Diagnose drivability, fuel system, emissions, electrical, and engine performance concerns.
- Complete repairs from inspection through final quality control.
- Perform Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) and accurately document vehicle condition.
- Build repair recommendations and identify additional maintenance or repair needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while contributing to a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Five or more years of automotive repair experience preferred.
- B-Level Automotive Technician or higher preferred.
- Strong automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Michigan State Technician Certification.
- Experience performing light-duty diesel diagnostics and repairs.
- Own professional automotive tools.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- ASE Certifications preferred.
- Ford diesel experience preferred.
- Experience using Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) software preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Flat-rate pay: $30–$50 per flagged hour, based on experience and skill level.
- Estimated annual earning potential: $75,000–$120,000+ based on productivity and the verified pay plan.
