Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is looking for hands-on, automotive professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech environment! PDW is now hiring Experienced Automotive Mechanics to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier, working with experimental prototypes. This Full Time Automotive Mechanic position offers an AM day shift, PM night shift plus possible overtime and is based out of Romeo, MI.

- Gain exposure to advanced automotive technology
- Advance your mechanic career with mentorship and development toward senior-level roles
- Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and conducting inspections
- Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components
- Read, interpret, and follow service procedures
- Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders
- Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs
- Participate in daily shop organization and clean-up

Requirements:- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' automotive technician / mechanic experience
- Mechanical ability and ability to operate shop equipment
- Must have own tools with rolling toolbox
- Must have well rounded technician / mechanical experience and knowledge
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good attention to detail
- Must possess the skills to read, comprehend, and execute written procedures
- Must be an automotive technician / mechanic with a high level of urgency, motivation, and enthusiasm to learn
Skills:
- Certificate in Automotive Technology or related
- State/ASE certifications
- Prototype build technician / mechanic experience
- Valid Driver's license
- Overtime when available
- No certification required
