We are seeking an experienced Rapid Prototyping Controls Engineer to support the design, integration, and validation of automotive control systems using prototype ECU platforms such as Speedgoat and Micro Auto Box . This role involves HIL commissioning, bench validation, MATLAB/Simulink model development, and close collaboration with OEM engineers, offshore teams, and customer stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable control solutions.

· Define and document hardware and communication architecture between sensors, actuators, and prototype ECUs
· Create and update Boundary Diagrams, Interface Specifications, and Schematics
· Perform Component Compatibility Assessments for ECU I/O suitability

· Perform HIL bench commissioning and software flashing on Speedgoat / Micro Auto Box  
· Execute bench validation, replicate issues, and support debugging and root cause analysis
· Support calibration, diagnostics, and validation using: o CANape o CANoe o IPEMotion

· Design, develop, and validate MATLAB/Simulink models for real-time execution
· Integrate models into prototype ECUs and deploy on test benches
· Ensure communication with Vector / IPEMotion data acquisition systems

· Prepare Validation Reports, User Manuals, and Technical Documentation
· Instruct customer personnel on: o Prototype ECU operation o Test bench usage o Validation procedures
