Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to leverage information systems and technologies to enhance business processes.
- Support and maintain core business applications, including Oracle ERP, label printing solutions, EDI processing, and custom-built tools.
- Develop ad‑hoc SQL queries and scripts to meet reporting and analytical needs.
- Design, develop, test, train, and coordinate enhancements to existing applications and modules.
- Design, develop, test, train, and coordinate implementation of new applications or modules.
- Participate in project teams, contributing to project delivery and implementation activities.
- Maintain application procedures, provide training, and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high‑level support to internal customers.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 15+ years of experience in IT within an Oracle ERP/CRM/Financials environment, preferably in automotive or supply‑chain focused industries.
- Hands‑on experience with Oracle R12.2 upgrades, full‑lifecycle implementations, and production support for modules like AP, AR, PO, GL, iProcurement, and Supply Chain.
- Proficiency in creating ad‑hoc SQL queries and strong familiarity with Oracle EBS applications.
- Experience configuring and managing EDI transactions in Oracle for customers and suppliers.
- Expertise in AIM methodology and ability to design requirements using RICE techniques.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with label‑printing software such as Loftware.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) development.
- Familiarity with custom desktop applications and Central Desktop environments.
- Strong documentation and training abilities.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with various departments and stakeholders.
- Understanding of chemical manufacturing business processes and regulatory considerations.
