Composite Fabrication Technician; Fiberglass

As a Composite Fabrication Technician (Fiberglass), you’ll be part of the Operations Department, carrying out the daily procedures that bring fiberglass components to life. Your day blends hands-on craftsmanship with careful attention to detail and clear communication.

A day in this role

You start by preparing your station and tools, then move into precision work: cutting raw materials, grinding edges, sanding surfaces, buffing to a clean finish, and assembling parts. Throughout the shift, you keep equipment in good working order and your workspace organized. If you encounter a defect, malfunction, or anything that seems off, you document it and report it promptly. Between tasks, you’ll collaborate with teammates, contribute ideas to improve processes, and handle other duties as assigned.

Core responsibilities

Cut, grind, sand, buff, and assemble fiberglass parts

Maintain equipment and keep the workspace in good condition

Analyze and report issues, malfunctions, or defective parts

Support additional tasks and other duties as assigned

What helps you succeed

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs for basic tracking and communication

Highly organized and detail oriented

Comfortable contributing within a team environment

Adaptable in a continuous improvement setting and willing to offer ideas

Able to work independently with limited direction

Consistent, excellent attendance

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Minimum qualifications

High school diploma or GED Manufacturing experience preferred
