About the Role
Our Nursing Assistants are more than just caregivers; they are friends and companions to our guests. They build relationships with our patients and families while providing assistance with activities of daily living. Our CNAs are uniquely positioned to notice changes in mood and behavior that are key in helping our clinical team recognize potential medical issues. We rely on our Nursing Assistants as they are a fundamental and valuable component of our clinical nursing team.
Compensationand Benefits
Starting wage $18.00 per hour plus $3.40 per hour Hero Pay, totaling $21.40 per hour starting wages. Yearly wage increases are also provided.

- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with guests, their families, and visitors; through kind words and encouragement, promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
- Perform and document patient care using individualized care plans as a guide: bathing, activities of daily living, skin care, preventative and supportive care, routine morning and evening mouth care, shaving, dressing.
- Record and document nutritional intake, blood pressure, TPRs, catheter care, bowel/bladder training, weights, turning, positioning, range of motion, and ambulation.
- Support physical, psychological, occupational, speech, restorative and recreational therapies by positively encouraging and promoting continued well-being.
- Observe and report significant changes in routine or condition as necessary to the nursing team.
- Must have caregiving experience.
- Completed an approved Nursing Assistant training program. Current CNA Nursing Assistant certification required from the State of Michigan.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, innovative care.
- A team player, dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.
