The Pond Guy / Airmax, Inc. is the leading manufacturer and distributor of pond, lake, and water garden products, including aeration systems, fountains, and water treatments to a nationwide network of end-users and Airmax dealers.

Our Shipping/Warehouse team plays a key role in getting customer orders out accurately and on time. This is an active, fast-paced, and physical role where productivity, accuracy, consistency, and teamwork are important. You will receive hands-on training and be expected to follow established processes, safety requirements, and quality standards while working toward daily performance goals.

What Your Day May Look Like

The majority of your shift will involve walking throughout the warehouse and picking customer orders. Using a handheld scanner, digital pick list, and rolling cart, you'll locate products and build orders accurately and efficiently. Once a batch is complete, you'll deliver your cart to the packing area and begin the next order.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Work toward daily productivity and accuracy goals
  • Track product movement using scanning equipment and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Operate equipment safely and follow established safety and quality procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Adjust to changing priorities and support other areas based on business needs
Training and Cross-Training

You will receive hands-on training in your assigned area and may be cross-trained in picking, packing, receiving, or temporally scheduled to work in Production based on business needs. Department movement may occur throughout the year and could last for an extended period of time. Training will be provided, and you will be expected to meet the safety, quality, productivity, and performance standards of the area in which you are working.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

  • Remain on your feet and walk throughout most of the shift
  • Perform repetitive motions for extended periods
  • Frequently bend and stoop throughout the workday
  • Lift, lower, and carry items typically weighing 25 to 50 lbs.
  • Handle items weighing up to 150 lbs. with assistance
  • Load and unload carts containing heavy materials
  • Push and maneuver carts with a total load of up to 200 lbs. consistently throughout the workday

Availability

This is a full-time, year-round position. The typical schedules are:

  • Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Overtime opportunities on Saturdays may be available based on business needs. Schedule assignment is based on business needs and will be discussed during the interview process.
