RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and supervise two team members
Manage the general ledger, month-end close, account reconciliations, and inventory accounting
Prepare year-end schedules and support the external audit process
Serve as a key partner to the CFO on accounting and financial matters
Identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies
Assist with hiring and developing accounting staff

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5+ years of accounting experience
Experience with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and reconciliations
Distribution or manufacturing experience preferred
Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
Process improvement mindset with strong communication skills
Prior supervisory experience is a plus, but not required
