Supply Coordinator

Description:

Responsible for various duties and responsibilities supporting the Supply department in the procurement of products for distribution.

• Process purchase orders for the procurement of chemical products
• Track and report products in inventory
• Act as liaison between internal directors and external suppliers
• Assist in the management of railcar and truck logistics to obtain products
• Maintain supplier and product information in database
• Prepare and track samples delivered to customers
• Collect purchase planning forecasts from sales
• Compile market data and alternative values

• 0-4 years professional experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution in business or related field
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, advanced knowledge of Excel desired
• Familiarity with Salesforce a plus
• Comfortable with handling and analyzing large volumes of data
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with ability to prioritize and multitask
