VACANCY:
The Valley View Public School District is seeking an individual to fill a full-time Dual Language Early Childhood teaching position for the school year.
JOB SUMMARY:
The teacher is responsible to the Building Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests and abilities of preschoolers at risk with a wide range of needs and abilities; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
Qualifications
* Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Early Childhood endorsement and Early Childhood Special Education Approval
* Bilingual and ELL Endorsement
* Spanish speaking
* Experience working in a blended classroom with at risk and special needs students
* Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and Assessment preferred
* Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice and the Illinois Early Learning Development Standard
* Ability to provide help in modifying instructional materials for students assigned
* Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and parents
Salary/Benefits
Salary is in accordance with the teacher salary schedule.
