VACANCY:
The Valley View Public School District is seeking individuals to fill teaching positions for the 2026 Summer School Program.

The Summer School program will serve students with moderate to severe disabilities and will include certified teaching and related‑services staff. Instructional class time is 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
Qualifications- Applicant must hold appropriate State of Illinois Teaching Licensure with LBSI Endorsement
- Knowledge and experience related to proposed teaching assignment preferred
The teachers are responsible to report to the Summer School Principal for: planning instructional lessons that meet the needs, interests, and abilities of students; creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning; and employing effective instructional techniques.
Working ConditionsTeachers will be paid $40.00 per hour.
Applicants must work the entire summer session. No vacation times or subs are acceptable.
