Description
Summary Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the life sciences for the Department of Biology, on an as needed basis.
Responsibilities- Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
- The Biology department is seeking qualified adjunct faculty to teach lecture or laboratory courses in the life sciences.
- Teach one or more classes.
- Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary.
- Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching‑learning environment.
- Master’s degree.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Teaching experience is required.
- A history of teaching excellence is preferred.
- Work hours:
Part‑time; as needed basis. - Class assignments may include morning or evening classes.
- Schedule may vary from semester to semester.
