Base Pay: $903.00 per credit hour

Position Summary Information:
Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of Computer and Mathematical Sciences on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

• Teach one or more in person classes ranging from general education mathematics courses to calculus courses.
• Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary.
• Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree in Mathematics or related area, committed to student-centered teaching of undergraduate mathematics.

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will be a skillful and enthusiastic teacher who is strongly committed to interactive, student-centered teaching of undergraduate mathematics in a liberal arts setting. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in pure or applied mathematics, data science, physics, mathematics education, or statistics. All areas of specialization will be considered.

Work hours:

Part-time; as needed basis.
