Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of Sociology on an as‑needed basis.
Responsibilities- Teach one or more classes in either face‑to‑face, hybrid, or online formats
- Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chair when necessary
- Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching‑learning environment
- Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education
- Master's degree in Sociology or related discipline
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience teaching courses in social inequalities, race and ethnicity, social class, or gender
- Online teaching certification
- Part‑time; as needed basis
