The Physics program in the College of Aviation, Science, and Technology invites applications for adjunct instructors to work on an as-needed basis. Instructors with the following areas of expertise are encouraged to apply:
Physics, Astronomy, or Mechanical Engineering. Other areas of expertise within the discipline may be considered. Instructors of online courses are required to complete training in online course delivery provided through the University.
- Developing and teaching courses and/or labs in Physics and/or in our new Engineering Physics curriculum.
- Availability to hold office hours and meet with program faculty when necessary.
- Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
- Earned master’s degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
- At least three years of professional experience preferred for mechanical engineering adjuncts.
Part‑time; as needed basis.
