Adjunct Faculty, Social Work

Position Overview

Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of Social Work on an as‑needed basis. The Department of Social Work offers a BA degree in Social Work and an MSW degree. Undergraduate courses are typically offered in the daytime while graduate courses are typically offered in the evening. The role is responsible for modeling the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.

• Teach one or more classes in either face-to‑face or online formats.
• Availability to hold office hours and meet with department chairs or directors when necessary.
• Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching‑learning environment.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE accredited program.
• A minimum of two years post‑MSW practice experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience teaching courses in social work at the undergraduate or graduate level.

• Experience teaching courses in social work at the undergraduate or graduate level; experience teaching online courses.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Part‑time; as needed basis.
