The Physics program in the College of Aviation, Science, and Technology invites applications for adjunct instructors to work on an as needed basis. Instructors with the following areas of expertise are encouraged to apply:
Physics, Astronomy, or Mechanical Engineering. Other areas of expertise within the discipline may be considered. Instructors of online courses are required to complete training in online course delivery provided through the University.
- Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration, and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
- Developing and teaching courses and/or labs in Physics and/or in our new Engineering Physics curriculum.
- Availability to hold office hours and meet with program faculty when necessary
- Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment
- Earned masters degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Undergraduate teaching experience preferred. At least three years of professional experience preferred for mechanical engineering adjuncts.
