Maintenance Technician

TD Synnex seeks a Maintenance Tech 1 to support critical IT and facility infrastructure at our San Francisco office. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on servers, network rooms, workstations, and building systems, including power, HVAC, and access controls. Responsibilities include basic hardware swaps, cabling, troubleshooting equipment issues, documenting work orders, and coordinating with vendors. You'll collaborate closely with IT, operations, and security teams to ensure uptime, safety, and compliance in a fast-paced, innovative environment with strong growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT hardware and facility systems
• Support server rooms, network closets, and workstations, including basic hardware swaps and cabling
• Monitor and respond to maintenance tickets and work orders, documenting all activities
• Assist with setup, relocation, and teardown of equipment and work spaces
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or inspections
• Inspect and report on safety, access control, and environmental conditions
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and security teams to minimize downtime
• Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and organized work spaces
• Participate in on-call or after-hours support as needed
