Position: FLOOR TECHNICIAN (FULL TIME)

Floor Technician – Romeoville, IL

Location:

1137 W. Remington Blvd., Romeoville, IL 60446 – online applications only.

Schedule:

Sunday through Wednesday, 6:00 pm – 4:30 am (full‑time). Pay: $16.50–$17.00 per hour.

Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions
  • Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
  • Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment and utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
  • Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface treatments, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
  • Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
  • Other duties as assigned by manager.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
  • Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
  • Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
  • Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
