PositionWarehouse Supervisor — Lead a team of Warehouse Associates to ensure efficient operations, maintain safety standards, and ensure compliance with all policies and procedures. You will drive performance, deliver results, and meet or exceed defined goals. Associates will work in different temp zones including refrigerated (25 to 35°F) and freezer (-20°F).
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 9:00 PM–5:00 AM, Full-time.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 25–28 Warehouse Associates, ensuring they have the tools, support, and knowledge to meet and exceed performance expectations.
- Set clear, achievable performance goals using KPIs such as productivity, order accuracy, safety, and cleanliness; foster a culture of mutual respect and high engagement.
- Utilize data to drive performance.
- Provide real-time coaching, guidance, and feedback, reinforcing a positive, collaborative work environment.
- Encourage individual growth and career development by promoting skill enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Recognize and celebrate outstanding performance to motivate the team.
- Lead by example in safety and compliance; maintain a safety-first culture and adherence to regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, provide training, and implement corrective actions to improve safety standards.
- Hold the team accountable for maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive work environment.
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management; continuously optimize workflows to drive productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
- Apply LEAN methodologies and continuous improvement practices to identify opportunities, reduce waste, and ensure operations remain efficient and accurate.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to implement improvements based on feedback and performance data.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and prioritize tasks.
- Strong computer skills, including experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, overtime, and holidays to support warehouse operations.
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential warehouse functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Must be able to lift, move, and carry items up to 75 pounds frequently. The Warehouse Supervisor is required to stand, walk, climb, and sit at times in the warehouse. The environment includes temperatures that can vary from very cool to very warm, and freezer temperatures (-20°F) and refrigerator temperatures (25–35°F).
The supervisor is also exposed to outside weather conditions; noise levels are typically low to moderate.
