Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Picker/Packer to join our team in Romeoville, Illinois. The candidate will be responsible for accurate order picking and order processing, ensuring order information weight and shipment details are correct before processing through UPS/FEDEX, USPS, and other systems.

• Starting at $15.68/hour

• Monday‑Thursday 7am-5:30pm, plus overtime and weekends
• Located in Romeoville, Illinois

• Process orders for shipment according to the instructions on bill of lading or pick sheet and assemble merchandise accurately for shipping.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including charging batteries as needed.
• Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking as required.
• Participate in physical inventories.
• Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damages.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in maintaining warehouse security, including cleaning the dock floor as necessary.
• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety and follow all safety and security regulations and company guidelines.
• Complete all safety training within the specified timeframe, applying all appropriate actions.
• Use all tools and equipment as trained, stopping when unsafe and utilizing stop‑work authority.
• Honor commitments and values of Hub Group (Service, Integrity and Innovation).
• Maintain regular attendance and timeliness.
• Overtime may be required.
• Duties, responsibilities and activities may be assigned or changed from time to time.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience using RF scanner and WMS systems.
• Previous experience operating powered material handling equipment helpful.
• Familiarity with UPS, FEDEX and USPS shipping software (or willingness to learn) and data entry.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to multitask.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions/work procedures both written and verbal.
• Ability to read and write legibly.
• Ability to perform basic calculations.
