Staff Management | SMX is hiring for Cold Storage Food Production Associates in Romeoville, IL. This role is responsible for preparing, packaging, labeling, and handling food products in a refrigerated or freezer-controlled environment while following all food safety and quality standards.

Full Time, Temporary or Contract. Pay Rate: $18.00 - $18.50 / hour Duties:
No prior manufacturing experience is required. Responsibilities may include mixing products, weighing and scaling materials, packaging finished goods, and supplying production lines with materials as needed. This role is based in a refrigerated and freezer-controlled production facility and involves working in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. Use of required protective clothing and personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. Candidates must be reliable and committed to following industry-standard Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times.

Compliance includes restrictions such as no artificial nails or eyelashes, nail polish, or jewelry while producing and/or packaging food products.

Position Requirements : + Inspect product for quality and any signs of foreign material contamination. + Supply production lines as needed. + Responsible for correct placement of product on line or in containers, boxes, or pallets. + Maintains works area in a clean and organized manner. + Performs all other duties as assigned. + Must be knowledgeable in GMPs or the willingness to learn.

+ Basic math skills. + Must have the ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures. + This is a manufacturing environment and there will be an exposure to a variety of machines, noise levels, and varying temperatures. + This is a team environment; all employees must be able to work together and communicate in a respectful and professional manner.

+ Must be able to work necessary overtime based on staffing needs and customer demand, as well as across shifts. + Ability to stand and work with your hands throughout the duration of the shift. + Ability to lift at least 25lbs. Requirements:
