Job Summary
Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor with guidance from the Repack Lead, the Repackaging Clerk is responsible for providing physical product changes. This will be achieved by maintaining Hellermann Tyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
Essential Functions· Perform repackaging of product to service customer/inventory needs. Read and follow work order instructions.
· Use and interpret bin systems.
· Operate scales, bag sealers, and printers for labels.
Other Functions· Monitor inventory of materials needed (bags, cartons, etc.). Obtain product knowledge.
· Other duties may be assigned.
· Work with quality to sort material as needed.
Key Competencies· Ability to follow instructions on work orders. Use of ERP system.
· Maintain repackaging log daily.
· Maintains scales and bag sealers; ability to recalibrate bag sealers. Scales need to be recalibrated after each product is used.
Qualifications (skills, knowledge, experience)- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs. Basic math skills.
- Appropriate use of PPE.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends when properly notified to meet the needs of the customer.
- 6 months of prior warehouse experience preferred.
