Material Handler 3rd Shift

Your Mission

• Forklift inspections prior to use. Any repairs required are to be reported to the Supervisor or Manager.
• Stock Printer, Tuber, and Bottomers with all raw materials required for production per the published schedule.
  All small (butt) rolls and aged material to be stocked at machines first
• Return unused small (butt) rolls to warehouse stock.
  Minimum twice weekly
• Movement of all materials used by the slitter.
  Daily as required
• Obtain weight and tags for narrow reels not being used at the Bottomers and return to the warehouse.
  Minimum once a week
• Unload and receive shipment of all materials inventoried in warehouse or ink department.
• Consume preprint patches to the orders.
  Monday, Wednesday and Friday
• Load all outgoing shipments from the materials warehouse. (scrap containers, empty ink drums, empty totes, Coating Excellence).
• Perform monthly inventories of paper, poly, narrow reels, poly, narrow reels, polylok and preprint.
• Overtime or weekends will be required when needed and notified by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned (i.e., trains new hires when asked, assists in shipping when deemed necessary by management, garbage emptied, and floors swept daily before every shift and any other task or assignment within the scope of the business).

• Must be 18 Years of age or older
• 1-5 years of Material Handling experience preferred.
• 1-5 Years of Clamp/Stand Up Reach Forklift experience required.
• Work Schedules are normally 8-10 hours.
• Must be able to work overtime as needed.
• Disciplined, dependable and resourceful.
• High level of composure and good stress management.
