Polisher and Deburrer

Love working with your hands? At WALCO Tool & Engineering, we build high precision components – and we rely on great people that take pride in quality and craftsmanship. We are looking for a polisher/deburrer to join our team.

What You'll Do:

Polish stainless steel weldments to blend welds and establish grain direction utilizing handheld power tools, files and abrasive products

Smooth and finish sharp machined edges on parts made from stainless steel, common steel, aluminum and plastics

Grind, sand, clean or polish parts to fix imperfections

Use hand and power tools to file and shape grooved or contoured surfaces so they match blueprints specifications

Stamping part numbers on parts

Packaging parts to prevent damage in shipment

Assemble machined components to customer's specifications

What We're Looking for:

Hands on experience working with your hands in finesse work such as auto body, carpentry, metal polishing, deburring, etc.

High sense of urgency and ability to multi-task Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn quickly

Strong work ethic and highly motivated

Ability to follow written instructions

Capability to read blueprints

Ability to physically lift/push/pull objects up to 40 lbs.

Climate controlled facility

Compensation and schedule:$21-25 per hour, based on experience with opportunities for overtime

Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM or 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
