Electrical Tester

G&W Electric Co, a global leader in power grid solutions, is seeking an Electrical Tester I to perform routine testing and inspection of electrical components and assemblies used in power distribution products. In this role, you'll follow detailed test procedures, read schematics, use meters and other test equipment, and accurately document results to ensure products meet safety and quality standards. You'll collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify issues, support root-cause analysis, and help maintain a safe, efficient, and continuous-improvement-focused manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electrical tests on components and assemblies per established procedures
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
• Operate meters and other test equipment safely and accurately
• Document test results, nonconformances, and rework activities
• Collaborate with production and engineering to resolve basic test issues
• Follow all safety, quality, and compliance standards in the manufacturing area
• Support root-cause investigation and corrective actions for test failures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
