We are currently seeking a talented and compassionate PMHNP to join our team. The licensed professional provides medical care to patients under the supervision of a licensed psychiatrist. Primary responsibilities include diagnosing and treating mental illness by providing psychotherapy and managing medication.
Responsibilities- Collaborate within many different clinical populations including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, and more.
- Provide psychotherapy and medication management to patients.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team members.
- Current State of Illinois licensure in good standing as Advanced Practice Nurse and RN.
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatric Training (ANCC).
- Board Certified (or eligible to obtain) Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP-BC.
- Current CPR certification (BLS).
- Prescriptive authority: active Mid-level Practitioner Controlled Substance License and DEA License (a plus).
- Minimum five years of prior experience in behavioral health nursing.
