Role Overview
Provides specialized nursing care in a Level III NICU, focusing on neonates requiring intensive support.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver family-centered care in a 35-bed single-room NICU setting.
- Administer neonatal treatments, monitor patient status, and respond to emergencies.
- Occasionally float to Peds/PICU, SCN, and Mother Baby units as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure compliance with licensure, certifications, and safety protocols.
- Associate Degree or higher in Nursing;
Bachelor’s Degree required within five years if Associate Degree is held. - Minimum 1 year experience in Level III/IV NICU setting.
- Current Illinois RN license and BLS certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date.
