Job Overview
At Hach (), a Veralto company, we ensure water quality for people around the world. The Quality Engineer – Distribution reports to the Quality Manager and is responsible for monitoring and improving quality performance within distribution operations. This role leads defect tracking, analyzes quality trends, and drives resolution of operational quality issues while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse and distribution processes.
Responsibilities- Lead customer defect tracking and resolution (CDT&R) through data reporting and daily management activities.
- Analyze quality metrics and identify improvement opportunities within distribution operations.
- Support root cause analysis and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Support daily visual management, KPIs, and operational quality processes.
- Provide on-floor support for nonconformances and product holds.
- Maintain and support Quality Management System (QMS) processes, including CAPA, SCAR, audits, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Sciences, or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001).
- Experience with quality tools and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience analyzing quality data and metrics.
Compensation range for this role is $68,000 - $84,000 USD per year. Eligible for bonus pay. Comprehensive benefits include paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k).
