Position:
Manure Sales Specialist (Midwest U.S.) – a results‑driven, relationship‑oriented role focused on sales of manure handling equipment and related components to dealers and customers throughout MN, WI, IA, NE, SD, and ND.
- Sales & Territory Development – Build and nurture strong relationships with dealers; grow market share through new dealer partnerships; provide product expertise, demonstrations, and technical support; participate in trade shows, seminars, and industry events; analyze customer needs, satisfaction, and trends to refine sales strategy.
- Communication & Reporting – Submit call reports, forecasts, and weekly updates; collaborate with the Manure Sales Director; communicate warranty claims, product improvements, and dealer feedback to GEA teams; keep dealers informed on updates, bulletins, rebate programs, and policies.
- Dealer & Project Management – Conduct annual business planning with assigned dealers; support dealer growth through coaching and sales collaboration; manage CRM updates, forecasting, signed documentation, and terms & conditions; ensure up‑to‑date product knowledge across the dealer network.
- Training & Development – Lead product training (sales, installation, software) for dealer teams; provide on‑site or remote support for system design and on‑farm demonstrations; encourage dealer participation in GEA‑led classes and technical training; assist with onboarding and ramp‑up for new dealers.
- Time in the Field – Spend 60–80% of the time in the field with dealers and customers; maintain an organized schedule and submit timely reports and itineraries; attend internal meetings and collaborate cross‑functionally as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Management, or related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of sales experience, preferably with ag‑related products or capital equipment.
- Resident of the Midwest U.S. (MN, WI, IA, NE, SD, ND) – preferably IA, MN, or WI.
- Experience with barn layout, herd management, and farm financial documentation is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; comfortable working independently and within a team.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
- Ability to read blueprints and floor plans.
- Willing and able to travel 60–80% of the time across the Midwest U.S. (MN, WI, IA, NE, SD, ND).

The typical base pay range for this position is $80,000 – $100,000 per year, depending on location. Final offers are based on skill set, experience, location, and other job‑related factors. Additional rewards may include discretionary bonus and/or equity awards.
