Battery Technician

Overview

Our client is looking for someone to join their team to support battery swap projects. The client supports projects for industry-leading Data Center, Wireless and ISP companies. Ideal base is the Chicago area, but candidates from IA, WI or MN will be considered. The role requires travel to other states for work. The work is physical in nature and involves battery work;

this is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in a growing industry.

• Install batteries and the associated infrastructure and rack at client sites.
• Work as part of a team at job sites.
• Travel to project locations as needed; mileage is reimbursed from home to location and back each week; hotels are paid when required.
• Bring your own hand tools (screwdrivers, ratchets, pliers, stitching tools) and any power tools you wish to use.

• Good work ethic; familiar with hand tools; experience installing equipment is a bonus.
• Comfortable installing batteries or other CO equipment; prior experience not required.
• Entry level acceptable.
