Residential Electrical Service Technician

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for responding to daily service calls in your assigned area while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring, or devices.
• Inspecting transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.
• Replacing and upgrading electrical services, equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.
• Troubleshooting electrical issues using appropriate testing devices.
• Service technicians are provided with fully stocked service vehicles.
• Document actions, testing results, observations, final diagnosis of the situation, and steps taken to resolve issues for each job or situation.
• Determine the steps necessary to assess an electrical situation using testing devices.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, platforms, and lifts to work on electrical systems and device replacements in residential homes as well as commercial properties.

Qualifications:

• Completed electrician apprenticeship or 3-4 years of electrical experience.
• Proficiency with the National Electrical Code and local codes.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
