Distribution Center Associate II; Residential DC

2nd Shift – Key Position Warehouse Forklift Associate

Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts to move and position materials.
• Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance.
• Ensure safe handling of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
• Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Under general supervision, performs manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products.
• Receives goods, verifies items against shipment records, and inspects condition.
• Gathers, verifies, and packs items for shipment according to specifications and transportation method used.
• Records received and shipped items according to established procedures.
• Routes materials, supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Completes written and computerized documentation.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Previous forklift operating experience preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Basic computer skills.
