Trailer Technician

Trailer Technician - Bolingbrook/Romeoville, IL

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Trailer Technician to join our growing team. This position supports a newly secured contract with a major 3PL provider, performing on-site trailer inspections and light trailer repairs at a client location. Technicians will primarily work from the client's yard and serve as the first point of contact for trailer maintenance needs.

Starting Pay: $20+/hour (Based on Experience and Skill Level)

Responsibilities:

• Perform DOT and preventive trailer inspections
• Identify and document trailer defects and repair needs
• Complete minor trailer repairs and maintenance as qualified
• Communicate inspection findings with management and client personnel
• Maintain accurate service records and inspection reports
• Ensure work is completed safely and professionally

Qualifications:

• Trailer maintenance experience preferred but not required
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently in a yard environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail and safety practices
