Battery Technician

Our Client is looking for someone to join their team to support battery swap projects. Our client supports projects for industry leading Data Center, Wireless and ISP companies. This resource ideally is based in the Chicago area but candidates from IA, WI or MN would be considered. They must be able to travel to the other states for work. The work these technicians will be doing includes installing batteries and associated infrastructure and rack.

Candidates need to bring their own hand tools including screw drivers, ratchets, pliers, stitching tools, and any power tools they want to bring. Mileage to and from the work location will be reimbursed from home and back each week, hotels are paid for when required. Jobs site locations will be at the client sites working with a team. The work is physical in nature and battery work, great opportunity to get your foot in the door in a growing industry.

Majority of the work is performed in IL and WI but they do travel to IA and MN.

Good work ethic, familiar with hand tools, experience installing equipment is a bonus.

They need candidates who are comfortable installing batteries or other CO Equipment. Candidates don't need to have done this kind of work before. Comfortable in a role installing batteries and other power plant related equipment.

Entry Level.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Romeoville, IL.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
