Sit-Down Forklift Operator (Night Shift)
Location:
Romeoville, IL
- Sunday–Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm (Day Shift) $21/hr
- Sunday–Thursday, 6:00pm–2:30am (Night Shift) $22.50/hr
We’re seeking an experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operator to join a busy warehouse team in Romeoville, IL. This position is ideal for candidates with recent forklift experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment and performing occasional picking duties.
Responsibilities- Operate a Toyota sit-down forklift safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, and stage materials throughout the warehouse
- Repeatedly get on and off the forklift throughout the shift
- Perform pallet picking and other warehouse duties using an RF scanner
- Follow all safety policies and warehouse procedures
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
Minimum of 2 years of recent sit-down forklift experience (Toyota preferred)
Experience using RF scanners preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. (most lifts average around 30 lbs.)
Reliable work history; employment gaps will be reviewed
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work EnvironmentThis facility is a 3PL warehouse supporting manufacturing packaging products, including:
- Coffee cups
- Clamshell containers
- Straws
- Plasticware
- Other food-service packaging materials
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Work shorts permitted
- No hoodies or inappropriate graphic T-shirts
- Safety glasses and safety vests provided on-site
