Senior Visual Developer (ASP.Net)
Romeoville, IL
General Summary- Our client, a leader within the Banking industry, isseeking a Senior Visual Studio .Net developer with 5+ years experience and an emphasis on web development for a6 month contract to hireposition.
- 5+ years development experience of which 3 years arewithin web development.
- Well versed in ASP, ASP.Net, and C#with extended skills in XML.
- Strong experience withscripting languages such as VB Script and Java Script.
- Good design skills and able to contribute to all phases of the development cycle.
- Stayapprised of key technology trends in web design and development.
- Ability to meet deadlines, self motivated and can work independently.
- Ability to write optimized SQLServer Stored Procedures with Transactional Control.
- Excellent communication skillsand team player.
- Ability to communicate tonon-technical professionals.
- Good troubleshooting anddebugging skills.
- Familiar with Version Controlpackages, such as Visual Source Safe.
Skills and Abilities
- Certification or equivalent experience with ASP or ASP.NET.
- Certification or equivalent experience with SQL Server 2000.
- Familiar with Change Management tools is a plus.
- Experience with Web Services isa plus.
- Experience with Client Serverdevelopment is a plus.
- Familiar with Reporting Services is a plus.
- Experience in thebankingindustry or card personalization would be a greatadvantage.

Month Contract to Hire
- $50.00 hourly rate as W2 consultant, $90k - $95kannual salary + benefits for the fulltime position.
- W2 Contract for the6 month contract portion.
