Forklift Operator Warehouse

Ryder is hiring a Stand Up Forklift Operator in Romeoville, Illinois. This role offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
• Shift Pay: $0.75 per hour
• Schedule:
  
  A Shift – Sunday to Tuesday, 6:00 am–6:00 pm;
  Wednesday, 6:00 am–12:00 pm

• Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Accurately pick, pack, audit, and stage products; load and unload trucks.
• Handle day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator’s License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, punctual, and detail‑oriented with a good attendance record.
• High level of accuracy under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Availability to work flexible shifts.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels.
