The Shipping and Receiving Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.
Responsibilities for this position include: verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against packing slips and sales orders; preparing shipping documents along with the correct mailing labels; preparing bills of lading; determining the best method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
A qualified applicant will have the following experience/abilities:
- Experience setting up UPS and Fed Ex ground shipments
- 2 year or more of Shipping/Receiving experience a plus
- Able to complete multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment with little direct supervision
- Required to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must have experience on LP forklifts
- Microsoft Word and Excel experience a plus

The employee will be subject to standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead on a regular basis. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

RF system, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook preferred.
