Position Overview

Ryder is hiring a Stand‑Up Forklift Operator in Romeoville, Illinois. The position offers weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

• Hourly Pay: $23.00 per hour
• Shift Pay: $0.75 per hour addition
• Schedule:
  
  Sunday–Tuesday 6:00 am–6:00 pm;
  Wednesday 6:00 am–12:00 pm

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year or more of warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
• Valid forklift operator license (certified)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Can lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting
• Adhere to performance measurement guidelines of the contract
• Accurate picking and packing, audit, tote induction, staging, loading/unloading trucks
• Manage day‑to‑day paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing system during core shift
• Perform other duties as assigned
