Overview

Always There Express is seeking Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to transport goods across the United States. This Independent Contractor role offers strong pay, high mileage, and modern equipment. Drivers must be available for extended time out, especially for certain regions. That’s the standard at Always There Express.

• Transport freight across IL, TX, SC, NC, PA, and the broader South
• Operate automatic Freightliner and Volvo trucks (2020025 models)
• All miles paid — loaded and empty
• Pre/post trip inspections, DOT compliance required
• 24/7 dispatch; possible home time based on route
• Detention, layover, clean inspection pay — even if not reimbursed by broker
• Reset policy: 2 weeks out = 2 days home, 3 weeks out = 3 days home, etc.

• Experience:
  
  Minimum 2 years CDL-A
• Orientation: 24 hours if drug test completed early; truck assigned same day
• Equipment: APU, inverter, fridge, Pre Pass included

• Pay:
  Solo drivers earn $0.65 CPM — no bonuses, just high mileage
• First Pay:
  Paid weekly; first paycheck issued second Friday after start
