Essential Functions:
- Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
- Tracks orders and investigates problems.
- Perform physical count of inventory and reconcile actual stock count to computer-generated reports such as Put Away and Shrink reports.
- Re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
- Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry.
- May lead, guide, and train staff performing related work.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Location items in shrink off of daily report.
- Collaborate with warehouse employees to ensure that cycle counts are completed.
- Investigate inventory errors and perform corrective measures.
- Regular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- Basic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules as required which may include working off shifts and weekends.
- Proficiency in English and Spanish oral and written communication.
- At least 1 year experience utilizing a warehouse management system.
- Operate power equipment (reach truck, order selector, etc.).
- Stand up to 10 hours per day.
- Walk up to 8 hours.
- Reach up and out continuously.
- Occasionally climb.
- Push/pull 11-25 pounds occasionally; 36-50 pounds frequently.
- Lift up to 50 pounds frequently; up to 75 pounds occasionally.
- Repetitive foot and hand/arm movements for simple reaching and fine hand manipulation.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Speak with all levels of the organization.
- Read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Write routine reports.
Skills:
- Proficient in mathematics.
- Add/subtract two-digit numbers; multiply/divide with 10s and 100s.
- Use units of American money, weight, volume, distance.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Warehouse distribution center environment.
- Frequently exposed to vibrations and dust; working around moving machinery.
- Noise level usually moderate at low decibels.
- Fast paced, team environment.
