Associate Operator, Warehouse Operations

Overview

Support Cencora's distribution services operating through Amerisource Bergen in the United States.

Shift: Monday through Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm. Pay starts at $20.25, potentially rising to $23.74 based on shift differentials, performance incentives, and referral bonuses.

Full-time salary range: $29,600 – $54,340 (national average; may vary by location).

• Monitors temperature‑sensitive materials during storage and shipment preparation to preserve required conditions.
• Updates warehouse transactions, inventory records, and shipment documentation to maintain traceability and control.
• Identifies on‑hold, damaged, or non‑conforming materials and routes them through defined handling procedures.
• Coordinates material movement using approved warehouse equipment to support safe and efficient flow.
• Prepares packaging materials and shipment areas to support timely outbound activity.
• Escalates non‑standard handling or inventory issues to support timely follow‑up.

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or equivalent certification preferred.

• Less than 2 years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, and shipping.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles, stock movement tracking, and material traceability requirements.
• Knowledge of temperature‑controlled handling and cold chain support for sensitive products and materials.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, reusable shipping assets, and replenishment practices within warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of shipment documentation, operational record‑keeping, and transaction processing requirements.
• Knowledge of safe material handling practices and the use of warehouse equipment and tools.
• Ability to follow established warehouse procedures and standardized work instructions.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and update operational information in warehouse systems and logs.
• Ability to identify inventory, packaging, shipment, and material handling exceptions for further action.
• Ability to support timely and accurate order preparation and material movement activities.
• Ability to manage multiple routine tasks across warehouse workflows while maintaining accuracy.
• Ability to work with temperature‑sensitive materials in line with defined handling requirements.
