Warehouse Manager, Distribution/ General Warehouse

As the Inventory Lead
, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy. Ensure that inventory entries and adjustments are reflected accurately in the warehouse management system. Direct team members and resolve inventory issues.
- Direct, coordinate and assist in physical inventory, including auditing and monitoring cycle counts
- Maintain accurate records of all audits, counts, and adjustments. Confirm completion of cycle count activity daily
- Troubleshoot and analyze inventory issues/discrepancies and process accurate inventory adjustments to match physical inventory movement and analyze results of counts to initiate permanent corrective actions
- Ensure that all operational reporting is completed and made available via applicable Sandvik systems. This includes but is not limited to LPS, unconfirmed and nil picks reporting
- Drive and partner with cross-functional teams to develop and implement approved changes
- Monitors and directs the work of others
- Makes decisions and communicates work practices, procedures, and methods to associates as required
- Warehouse administration and housekeeping
- Other duties as assigned
- Allocation of responsibilities to individual team members
- Provision of backup support to all team members as required
- Provision of on-the-job coaching and guidance as and when necessary
- Answering technical queries of team members as required
- 3-6 years warehousing and inventory experience. Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
- Working knowledge of warehouse management system (preferably Blue Yonder or SAP) or plant systems, processes and procedures.
- Strong Excel and decision-making skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate with associates/customers.
- Ability to work specific shift, knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures, read, understand and follow directions/instructions/work procedures/safety rules, operate various office equipment as needed, perform simple math calculations, operate basic document and spreadsheet software.
- High School or equivalent experience. Post-secondary education/training in business or supply chain discipline would be of advantage.

CompensationIn the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $22.00-$24.00 exclusive of fringe benefits and shift differentials.
