Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00am-2:30pm - $21/hr

+ Night

Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00pm-2:30am - $22.50/hr

** Position Overview*
* Join our dynamic warehouse team in Romeoville as a Sit-Down Forklift Operator. We're looking for candidates with recent forklift experience who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are willing to support warehouse operations, including some material picking tasks.

** Key Responsibilities*
* + Operate a sit-down forklift in a safe and efficient manner

+ Load, unload, transport, and stage materials within the warehouse

+ Frequently get on and off the forklift throughout the shift

+ Use an RF scanner for pallet picking and order fulfillment

+ Adhere to all safety regulations and operational procedures

+ Support general warehouse activities as assigned

** Requirements*
* + At least 1 year of recent experience operating a sit-down forklift (Toyota experience a plus)

+ Prior experience with RF scanners preferred

+ Able to lift up to 50 lbs. (average lifts are about 30 lbs.)

+ Consistent, reliable work history (employment gaps will be evaluated)

+ Ability to work well independently and as a member of a team

** Warehouse Setting*
* This is a third-party logistics (3PL) environment handling a variety of products for the manufacturing and packaging sector, such as:

+ Coffee cups

+ Clamshell containers

+ Straws

+ Plastic utensils

+ Other food service packaging supplies

** Dress Code & Safety Guidelines*
* + Steel-toe shoes are required

+ Work shorts are permitted (no hoodies or inappropriate graphics on T-shirts)

+ Safety glasses and vests provided on-site

** Hiring Process*
