Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Romeoville, IL. This 1st shift Warehouse Picker/Packer role supports a busy distribution operation handling HVAC parts and service components. This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse, picking, packing, shipping, or distribution experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in accuracy, productivity, and teamwork. The environment is fast-paced, organized, and team-focused, with supportive leadership and clear daily expectations.

Candidates who are reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to build long-term warehouse experience will be well positioned for success.

• Pick HVAC parts and service components using RF scanners or pick tickets.
• Verify part numbers, quantities, and order accuracy before packing.
• Select proper cartons, packing materials, and dunnage to protect products during shipment.
• Label, seal, and stage completed orders for outbound shipping.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, and route materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe work area while following all site safety procedures.

• Pay: $19 per hour.

• Shift: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

• Accurately pick and pack customer and dealer orders.
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation, both written and computerized.
• Inspect orders for damaged, missing, or incorrect items and report issues promptly.
• Support inventory, rework, and peak-season warehouse projects as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of related warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to use RF scanners, pick tickets, or similar warehouse order systems.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and order quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well with picking, shipping, inventory, and quality teams.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
• Comfortable performing repetitive picking and packing duties.
• Protective safety shoes are required and must meet site safety standards.

• Previous picking, packing, shipping, receiving, or distribution experience.
• Experience working with HVAC parts, service components, or similar inventory.
• Prior experience using RF scanners or warehouse pick tickets.
• Experience supporting inventory counts, rework projects, or high-volume seasonal warehouse activity.
