Looking for Dock Material Handler jobs in Romeoville where your equipment skills keep warehouse operations moving? This opportunity lets you safely transport materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse and distribution operations.
Education Requirements- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
- Minimum of 1 year of Yale stand-up forklift experience required
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience preferred
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently
- Move, store, and retrieve materials within the warehouse
- Load and unload product as needed
- Transport pallets to designated warehouse locations
- Assist with inventory movement and stock rotation
- Follow warehouse safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
- Maintain productivity and accuracy standards
- Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as assigned
- Ability to work in a freezer environment for the duration of the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment in cold temperatures
- Steel-toe shoes required
- Freezer gear required and provided as applicable

As a Dock Material Handler you will safely operate forklifts to load, unload, transport, stack, and organize materials throughout warehouse and manufacturing operations. You will inspect equipment before use, replenish inventory locations, support shipping and receiving activities, verify product movement, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safe, efficient material handling throughout the facility.
